The Disney Choice Science and Joining (DDSI) group supports clients across The Walt Disney Organization, including Disney Parks, Encounters and Items (DPEP), Media Organizations such as ABC and ESPN, Studio Diversion, and Corporate Business. The team develops innovative data‑driven solutions that influence business decisions and enhance corporate performance.

• Design and develop custom data science solutions that address complex business challenges.
• Create analytical frameworks that leverage data at Disney Media Organizations.
• Collaborate with the Choice Science teams to integrate data science deliverables into end‑to‑end projects.
• Work with Information and Innovation groups to design scalable, automated data pipelines.

• Full‑stack web development experience.
• At least four years of programming experience, with expertise in at least one development language.
• Minimum two years of experience with Python and Django.
• Experience with front‑end frameworks, particularly ReactJS.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to architect and build complex applications.
• Hands‑on experience handling large, complex data sets and distributed data systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Evidence of creative problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects through end to end execution, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
• Skills in mentoring junior team members on technical issues and lead projects.
• Experience designing and tuning application performance and data model relationships.
• Willingness to learn quickly in a fast‑moving environment.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and handle a variety of needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Experience with UX/UI design.
• Experience with QA testing and delivery.
• Experience with scientific applications.
• Relevant industry knowledge in media, entertainment, theme parks, or resorts.
• Experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
• Experience with analytical tools such as Databricks or Jupyter.
• Experience with large‑scale data processing tools.
• Experience driving application performance testing.

• Four‑year college degree in Software Engineering, MIS, Information Mining, Modern Design, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Graduate degree in a specialized field or related area.
