Class A CDL Driver

Location: Bloomfield, CT (Covering CT, MA, NH, VT, NY, RI, ME)

Contract Type: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 per hour (Overtime after 40 hours per week). Additional pay:
Overtime pay. Alternate pay ranges mentioned include $28 per hour, $30 per hour, $25–30 per hour, and a yearly range of $27.60–$36.73 per hour.

• Deliver grocery items and offload pallets with pallet jacks (up to 65 lbs).
• Operate refrigerated trucks and lift gates.
• Drive and operate commercial trucks with lift mechanisms to load and unload containers.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Accept add‑on deliveries as needed.
• Use handheld devices for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate forklifts and/or overhead cranes.
• Clean and inspect containers.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers.
• Communicate with Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer questions.
• Perform repairs of containers and lifts in field and at storage center.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class A CDL license with DOT Medical Card.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR.
• At least 1 year recent CDL‑A OTR experience; sometimes a minimum of 3 years of tractor‑trailer experience.
• No more than 3 moving violations or at‑fault accidents within past 3 years.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations within past 5 years.
• Minimum age 21 (some listings 22).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (CMVR) as required by DOT and state.
• Valid medical examiner’s certificate (1 year certification).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and state trucking law.
• Ability to lift/pull/carry up to 100 lbs (up to 80 lbs, 200 lbs in some contexts).
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, and work in all weather.
• Complete photo‑ baseline safety training.
