A dedicated CDL-A driving opportunity in the Hartford, CT, area is now hiring experienced drivers for a consistent Monday-Friday route with weekends off
.
This position offers approximately 2,300 miles per week
, a dedicated round-trip route, newer equipment, and daily home time. Drivers will haul steel coils used primarily for construction.
- $1,366.00 average weekly pay during the first year
- $0.52 per mile during the first year

Mileage: $0.52 per mile during the first year
Hourly:
- $23.00/hour starting pay
- $34.50/hour overtime
- After 12 months: $24.00/hour
- After 12 months: $36.00/hour overtime
Average Weekly Pay: $1,366.00 during the first year
New-Hire Transition Bonus: $500.00 paid in full on your second paycheck
Referral Bonus: $3,000.00 total
- $1,000.00 on second paycheck
- $1,000.00 at 60 days
- $1,000.00 at 120 days
Accessorial Pay: $17.00 per stop, averaging approximately 10 stops per week.
Dedicated Route & ScheduleDrivers depart the terminal in West Hartford, CT at approximately 1:30 PM Monday-Friday and run a dedicated round-trip route between Connecticut and Philadelphia.

The freight consists primarily of steel coils used for construction
.
The coils are transported in a dry van and loaded onto low wooden pallets. Because of the way the freight must be secured, drivers are required to nail the wooden pallets to the trailer floor during load securement.
Once the load is properly secured, the freight is no-touch
.
Drivers are responsible for the required load securement in Philadelphia. Upon returning to the home terminal, the driver is only required to complete the normal unloading/securement process as instructed.
Load Cancellation GuaranteeCustomer loads can occasionally be cancelled.
If a scheduled load is cancelled and the driver is notified by 11:00 AM EST
, the driver will receive an 8-hour minimum payment for the cancelled load.
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Safe driving history
- Ability to perform required load securement
- Ability to work the scheduled Monday-Friday shift
Drivers must live within approximately a 30-mile radius of Hartford, CT
.
