Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the receipt, organization, and distribution of windows, doors, bath products, and other materials within the warehouse. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of shipments, preparing products for future installations, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. The Warehouse Associate will coordinate the shipment of merchandise to various locations and assist in inventory management using an inventory module system.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving Shipments: Receive incoming shipments, inspect and verify accuracy of cargo, ensure products match orders, and handle goods with care following company protocols.
- Inventory Management & Organization: Organize warehouse cleanly and safely, maintain accurate records, assist with stock rotation, and use the inventory module to track quantities and locations.
- Product Preparation & Coordination: Pull products for upcoming installations, coordinate with installers and technicians, and prepare merchandise for shipping with accurate packaging and labeling.
- Shipping & Logistics: Oversee shipping of merchandise to various locations, ensure timely and accurate deliveries, and communicate with internal teams to maintain smooth flow of goods.
- Lift and move heavy objects up to 100 lbs or more as required.
- Operate forklifts or reach trucks safely (Forklift/Reach Truck Certification required).
- Maintain a safety‑conscious attitude and adhere to warehouse safety guidelines at all times.
- Experience: Preferred previous experience in warehouse or logistics roles.
- Skills & Abilities: Excellent organizational and logistical skills, strong attention to detail, positive team-oriented attitude, dependable and reliable, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more) as needed and comfort in performing physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Certifications: Forklift/Reach Truck Certification required for operating warehouse equipment.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for any required deliveries or coordination tasks.
- This position may require occasional overtime or weekend work depending on business needs.
- The role may require travel between warehouse and various job sites.
