Job Overview
We are currently accepting applications for a Laboratory Technician to be based at our office in White River Junction, Vermont. As a Laboratory Technician you will work in the lab and in the field performing construction materials testing on samples of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt, aggregate and other materials associated with a variety of construction projects, and reporting the results. You will also help maintain and organize the laboratory, visit field projects, and pick up samples from clients and project sites.
You will typically work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work opportunities based on project needs.
• Perform construction materials testing on samples of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt, aggregate, and other materials.
• Maintain and organize the laboratory.
• Visit field projects, pick up samples, and drive to job sites as needed.
• Record data, write or type observations, and conduct equipment safety procedures.
Qualifications• Prior experience with construction materials testing and valid certifications and licenses related to construction materials testing, such as ACI Concrete Testing Grade I, NETTCP, and/or ICC General Requirements and Special Inspections.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills and proficient writing skills.
• Ability to lift and carry samples and equipment, and safely operate equipment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship of visas at this time.

Travel compensation:
Reimbursement for travel time to project sites and mileage if personal vehicle is used. Options:
