Job Description
Dothan Brook School is seeking a caring, energetic, and student-centered Pre-K Paraprofessional to join our early childhood team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the classroom teacher and other support staff to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the academic, social-emotional, and developmental needs of all students.
Responsibilities- Support the implementation of daily classroom activities and instructional plans.
- Assist students individually and in small groups with academic, social, and behavioral goals.
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Support students during transitions, meals, recess, and other daily routines.
- Assist with data collection and documentation as directed by the classroom teacher or special educators.
- Implement behavior support plans and accommodations as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, interventionists, special educators, and related service providers.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- High School/Trade School degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
