The Director cultivates major donors, legacy donors, businesses, and professional advisors; creates reliable development systems; and helps build a team-based approach to revenue generation so responsibility for SNSC’s sustainability is not concentrated in the Executive Director.

- LEAD the campaign’s quiet and public phases, including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, pledge tracking, recognition, and stewardship.
- CULTIVATE relationships with major donors, current and former Board members, founders, families, community partners, and prospective legacy donors.

- COMMUNICATE how SNSC’s permanent fund protects programs, advocacy, and community inclusion for future generations.
- COLLABORATE with the Executive Director to advance SNSC’s long-term endowment goals.
- DEVELOP and LEAD the strategy to sell SNSC’s full $150,000 allocation of NH CDFA tax credits within the two-year award period.
- IDENTIFY, CULTIVATE, and SOLICIT eligible New Hampshire businesses and clearly explain the financial and community value of purchasing tax credits from SNSC.
- CREATE business-facing materials, presentations, prospect lists, outreach plans, and a reliable follow-up system.
- COORDINATE agreements, documentation, acknowledgments, reporting, and stewardship with SNSC staff and appropriate state and financial partners.
- DEVELOP tax-credit relationships into lasting corporate partnerships with SNSC when appropriate.
- DESIGN and LAUNCH SNSC’s first formal planned giving program, moving the organization from informal legacy conversations to an intentional and documented program.
- DEVELOP clear pathways for bequests, beneficiary designations, charitable distributions, gifts of securities, and other appropriate legacy and endowment gifts in coordination with qualified legal and financial professionals.
- CREATE donor education and cultivation materials, including a legacy giving guide, website content, gift-intention documentation, advisor materials, and donor communications.
- ESTABLISH a legacy recognition and stewardship program that respects donor preferences, privacy, and long-term relationships.
- BUILD relationships with estate-planning attorneys, financial advisors, accountants, and other professional advisors who can appropriately introduce charitable planning opportunities to clients.
- MAINTAIN accurate and confidential records of documented and prospective legacy commitments and ENSURE consistent long-term stewardship.
- MANAGE a defined portfolio of endowment, planned giving, and campaign prospects, with clear cultivation strategies and next steps for each relationship.
- PARTNER with the Executive Director, who will continue to lead grant development and maintain a separate caseload of major donors.
- PREPARE the Executive Director for donor conversations and INVOLVE them strategically in cultivation…
