Automatän LG Labeler Operator
The Automatän LG Labeler Operator is responsible for operating and setting up labeling equipment to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. This role includes pulling litho materials from storage, performing machine setups, managing production reporting, monitoring product quality, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Pay Rate
- Training Rate: $30.40/hour
- Qualified Rate: $32.65/hour
Schedule
- B Shift
- 3-2-2-3 rotating schedule
- 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety by following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards.
- Pull litho materials from storage and prepare for production runs.
- Perform machine setups and changeovers for scheduled production.
- Manage production reporting and job documentation requirements.
- Inspect product quality throughout the production process, including:
- Register under the mylar
- Print copy accuracy against print cards
- Overall label application and appearance
- Color consistency and variations
- Restack and load labels by hand as required.
- Check finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and assist maintenance personnel with repairs when needed.
- Keep equipment and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and production-ready.
- Understand department communication systems, schedules, attendance systems, and reporting requirements.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work safely in a safety-sensitive manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure and ruler accurately.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to perform job-related computer functions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment with moving equipment and personnel.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift, move, stack, and handle materials throughout the shift.
