Skilled Flexo Press Operator

Pro Ampac is seeking a Skilled Flexo Press Operator to join our flexible packaging team in Cincinnati. In this role, you will set up, operate, and troubleshoot flexographic presses to produce high-quality films, pouches, and bags for food, healthcare, and industrial markets. You will interpret job tickets, manage color and registration, perform changeovers, and conduct quality checks while following strict safety and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor flexo presses to meet production schedules
• Interpret job tickets, color standards, and quality specifications
• Perform press make-readies, plate mounting, ink mixing, and material changeovers
• Conduct in-process quality checks and adjust settings to maintain print quality
• Troubleshoot print, registration, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards in all press operations
• Maintain accurate production, material, and downtime records in systems
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and scheduling teams to resolve issues
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on press equipment
