What You'll Do
Verification Planning
- Develop systematic, detailed, and well-structured verification and test plans
- Analyze and interpret product requirements and design documentation
- Create and execute test cases to validate system functionality and performance
- Perform regression testing following defect resolution
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks
- Evaluate and implement modern testing tools and strategies
- Participate in requirements and design reviews
- Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance
- Communicate testing status, results, and risks to stakeholders
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Support debugging and verification of corrective actions
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing, validation, or similar role
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Bash, C, C++, etc.)
- Experience developing test cases from requirements and design documentation
- Experience using revision control systems and bug tracking tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Ability to set up and utilize common test equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
- CSQE certification
- Experience developing and executing automated tests
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments
- Experience working with embedded systems (bare metal and RTOS architectures)
- Linux administration and console experience
- Experience developing test cases with source code awareness
- Usability testing experience
