The Opportunity

Fathom Manufacturing is hiring a Commercial Site Leader to own growth, utilization, and commercial performance for our CNC machining operation in Hartland, Wisconsin-a cornerstone facility with deep regional roots and a critical role in Fathom's national manufacturing network.

This role exists for one reason: keep the Hartland CNC shop filled, profitable, and growing.

You will operate as the commercial owner of the site, accountable for driving demand, shaping the customer mix, accelerating deal velocity, and ensuring the facility consistently runs at or above target utilization. You are the connective tissue between customers, operations, and Fathom's broader commercial engine.

This is not a passive account management role. It is a hands-on, field-driven commercial leadership position for someone who knows how to hunt locally, expand intelligently, and translate manufacturing capability into booked revenue.

What You'll Own

* Regional revenue growth within a ~100-mile radius of Hartland

* Customer acquisition and expansion across industrial, medical, and high-spec manufacturing segments

* Capacity utilization, with a clear mandate to keep the CNC shop at or above 80% utilization

* Commercial execution at the site level, including pipeline health, pricing discipline, mix, and margin contribution

* Cross-site opportunity identification, ensuring Hartland customers are connected to broader Fathom capabilities when appropriate

You are the commercial quarterback for the site.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition & Expansion

* Win new logos in the regional market while expanding share of wallet within existing accounts

* Build a diverse, resilient customer base that supports consistent CNC demand

* Develop deep, durable relationships with engineering, operations, and procurement leaders

Utilization & Revenue Ownership

* Own growth strategies that maintain or exceed 80% CNC capacity utilization

* Proactively shape pipeline and quoting activity to balance short-term load with long-term account value

* Partner with Operations and Finance to align demand planning, pricing, and profitability

Commercial Performance Management

* Actively manage pipeline velocity, pricing mix, and margin performance

* Make informed trade-offs between speed, margin, and strategic value

* Identify risks early and course-correct before utilization or EBITDA are impacted

Network Leverage

* Identify when customer needs exceed Hartland's scope and introduce complementary capabilities from across the Fathom network

* Position Fathom as a multi-capability manufacturing partner, not a single-site vendor

Leadership & Visibility

* Serve as the commercial voice of the Hartland site to the Executive Leadership Team

* Own regular reporting on pipeline, quoting activity, revenue performance, utilization outlook, and commercial risks/opportunities

* Represent the site with confidence, clarity, and accountability

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days

* Strong presence established with top regional customers and prospects

* Clear view of capacity, pipeline gaps, and near-term load opportunities

* Trusted partner to site leadership and central commercial teams

First 180 Days

* Consistent CNC load with reduced volatility

* New logos secured and existing accounts expanding

* Improved pipeline velocity and pricing discipline

First 12 Months

* Hartland operating at or above 80% utilization on a sustained basis

* Healthier customer mix supporting margin and EBITDA goals

* The site viewed internally as a commercially well-run operation

Who You Are

* Proven success in territory development, B2B sales, or strategic account management, ideally in manufacturing or engineered services

* Strong local market knowledge across the Milwaukee / Madison / SE Wisconsin region

* Comfortable selling technical manufacturing value to engineers, buyers, and operators

* Commercially accountable-you own outcomes, not just activity

* Collaborative, but self-directed-you move fast without needing hand-holding

* Energized by targets, utilization goals, and real operational impact

Why This Role Works

* Clear ownership and authority at the site level

* Direct line of sight between your actions and facility performance

* Strong operational backbone and national network to support you

* A role built for operators who want real responsibility, not just a book of business

What We Offer

Health & Protection

* Medical, dental, and vision coverage

* Company-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

Time & Security

* Paid time off, floating holidays, volunteer time off, and sick time (state-dependent)

* 401(k) plan
