Our unique estate includes residential accommodation, office space, and educational buildings – no two days are the same. If you're hands‑on, proactive, and love fixing things right the first time, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Day‑to‑day repairs across the site: basic plumbing (e.g., leaks, taps, toilets), minor electrics (e.g., lamp/plug changes), carpentry, painting & decorating.
  • Planned maintenance: routine checks, defect reporting, preventative tasks, and record keeping.
  • Health & Safety: follow risk assessments, COSHH, work‑at‑height guidance, lock‑out/tag‑out where required.
  • Customer service: respond quickly to tickets, communicate updates, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Events & operations: room set‑ups, furniture moves, basic grounds support.
  • Contractor liaison: support specialist visits, ensure permits and safe systems of work are in place.
What You'll Need
  • Proven experience in a maintenance/handyman or caretaking role (school, residential block, facilities, hospitality, or similar).
  • Practical skills in basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and minor electrics.
  • Confident using tools, ladders, and mobile work order systems (training provided).
  • Strong problem‑solving, time management, and pride in a job well done.
  • A team player who's equally comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends for urgent issues or events.
Nice to Have (Training Provided if Needed)
  • Enhanced DBS already in place (we can process this if not).
Why Work With Us
  • Supportive team culture and varied workload across a mixed‑use estate.
  • Real impact – your work keeps students, residents, and staff safe and thriving.
