Hours:

Monday to Friday, Full Time  We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a growing fleet operation covering the Teesside area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled commercial vehicle technician who enjoys working independently and providing high-quality maintenance and repair services directly at customer sites and roadside locations. Benefits Competitive basic salary up to £41,496 Overtime opportunities available Company van and specialist tools provided Structured Career Development Comprehensive 5-stage training programme with the opportunity to progress to Master Technician level Work-Life Balance Monday to Friday working pattern with no weekend shifts Generous Holiday Allowance 25 days annual leave, increasing with length of service to 30 days, plus bank holidays and an additional day off on your birthday Comprehensive Benefits Package Pension scheme, life assurance, and access to same-day virtual private GP appointments Employee Perks Discounts on car hire, Cycle to Work scheme, paid volunteer days, and additional employee discounts Ongoing manufacturer and technical training Stable and growing business with genuine long-term career prospects Mobile HGV Technician Responsibilities Attend customer sites and roadside locations to diagnose, service, and repair commercial vehicles Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical systems Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently Complete repairs to manufacturer and company standards Accurately complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records Provide excellent customer service while representing the business professionally Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety requirements Mobile HGV Technician Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Mobile HGV Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Experience using modern diagnostic equipment Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Excellent communication and customer service skills Full UK Driving Licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential) A proactive approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work
