Pay: $10.50 - $11.00

Responsibilities
  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Answer phones, assist callers with questions, check members into the system, tour prospective members, sign up new members, and calculate rates and monthly payment amounts.
  • Assist the Club Manager in counting the cash drawer as needed.
  • Facilitate updates to members' accounts.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
  • Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, complete daily assigned tasks within the first hour of your shift, complete the priority cleaning list each day, perform walk‑around and bathroom checks periodically, and help with special cleaning projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Punctuality and reliability are a must.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
  • Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers, exceeding members' expectations.
  • Strong listening skills with empathy and problem‑solving ability.
  • Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
Physical Demands
  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
