Material Handler - Plywood Dept

Pay Rate: $21.58 /HR

Shift: First Shift

• Load, unload, and transport wood components and finished reels using forklifts and other equipment.
• Collaborate with production team members to facilitate product/material flow and achieve critical line metrics.
• Assist the plant in various areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and department, as well as 5S standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation of quantities loaded or unloaded.
• Execute all tasks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct a daily inspection of the material handling equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in material handling or warehouse operations a plus.
• Excellent attendance is crucial to ensure the team's success.
• A proven record of success in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Must be able to collaborate well with different teams and be attentive to identifying discrepancies.
• Take pride in analytical and hands-on abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Physical requirements include being able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for at least 8 hours.
• Be able to read and comprehend manufacturing instructions.
• Required to work overtime when necessary.
