Laser Operator
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join a precision manufacturing team in Hartselle, AL. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring advanced laser cutting and engraving equipment used to produce high-quality metal components for demanding industries. Materials include specialty alloys such as Inconel, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium where precision and attention to detail are critical.
Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting and engraving machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to cut and engrave precision metal components to customer specifications.
- Work with high-performance materials including Inconel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other specialty alloys.
- Verify dimensions and quality using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform machine adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
- Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
- Experience operating laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartselle, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
