Construction Manager — Renewable Energy (Solar)

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee solar energy construction projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Provide leadership during the initial planning phase by collaborating with clients, engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to define project scope, materials, and timelines
• Develop project schedules, coordinate activities, and manage timelines to meet key milestones
• Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost tracking and regular client updates
• Ensure adherence to budgets and make adjustments when unexpected challenges arise
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction and maintenance activities for assigned projects
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
• Select, contract, and manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and performance standards are met
• Oversee contract negotiations, revisions, and compliance across all parties
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to resolve construction, design, or procedural issues
• Lead response efforts related to delays, weather impacts, or site emergencies
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across all levels
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field required
• 7–10+ years of renewable energy construction experience required, with solar project experience strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools
• Experience with Procore or Bluebeam highly preferred
• Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and construction regulations
• Ability to remain flexible and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Ability to interpret engineering, architectural, and construction drawings
