As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac ICU, you will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.

• Provide strategic leadership and operational management for the critical care unit.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and equipment to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments and external partners to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development.

Candidate requirements

• A valid and active RN license issued by the state of South Carolina.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience working in an ICU setting.
• Availability to work night shifts and rotating weekends.
• Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess and manage critically ill patients.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and the ability to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and provide immediate interventions as needed.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
• Must be able to provide proof of current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
