Position: Dual Language Teacher — Bilingual Educator (Spanish)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dual Language Teacher across different grade levels located in Harvard, IL. The Dual Language Teacher will design and deliver engaging lesson plans, provide instruction to a diverse group of students, and effectively implement best practices for bilingual education. Responsibilities include guiding students in their academic and linguistic development, fostering an inclusive classroom environment, and partnering with families and colleagues to support student growth.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Lesson Planning and well-structured instructional delivery
  • Background in Education with a focus on bilingual teaching strategies
  • Strong Communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff
  • Experience in Teaching and Training students effectively
  • Ability to create an inclusive and culturally responsive classroom environment
  • State teaching license for bilingual education or equivalent certification
  • Fluency in Spanish required for Spanish classroom teacher/bilingual endorsement, ESL endorsement required for English classroom teacher
  • Passion for fostering academic and linguistic development in a diverse community
