Job Summary:
As Horizontal Team Leads, individuals are critical in aligning with the district's vision and ensuring collective responsibility for district success. They oversee collaborative processes to develop standards, assessments, and data reviews while fostering a culture of trust and collaboration among colleagues. These leads facilitate discussions and analyses of data to inform instructional practices and support colleagues in implementing effective strategies. Additionally, they collaborate with peers to enhance content knowledge and pedagogy, ensuring all students receive appropriate interventions and enrichment.
Serving as active members of the Building Leadership Team, they contribute to decision-making processes and represent their teams in professional development sessions and weekly collaborative meetings.
Qualifications:
Overall evaluation rating of proficient or higher, consistently demonstrating effective teaching practice.
Evaluation:
The supervisor shall annually evaluate the team leader. Such evaluation shall be reviewed with the team leader and made part of his/her permanent record.
Reports to:
Building Principal or designee
Terms of Employment:
This is a nine-month stipend position. Pending the review of school needs and the evaluation process, the term may be extended annually.

- Must have the ability to work collaboratively with others before, during, and after school hours as needed
- Must have strong verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to commit to the role for the entire school year
- Must model a strong commitment to continual improvement
