Job TitleSenior Tribute Advisor
Job SummaryUnder the general supervision of the Building Principal and Activities Director, the Advisor is responsible for providing activity or club programs that instill cooperation, leadership, and direction to all interested students. The Advisor develops the annual calendar, plans for the supervision of activities, and performs other duties directly related to this position description.

Terms of EmploymentThis is a nine‑month stipend position. Pending the review of school needs and the evaluation process, the term may be extended annually.

- Develop a philosophy for student conduct while participating in a club or activity.
- Maintain a high-interest, balanced program to meet student needs throughout the year.
- Serve as a role model for students.
- Interact in a positive manner with staff, students, and parents.
- Supervise and assist students effectively.
- Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude, and conversation.
- Establish dates, times, and places of events for administration approval and placement on the school calendar.
- Collaborate with students to set goals for an activity or club.
- Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students.
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise all fundraising projects and follow School Committee Fundraising Policies.
- Maintain accurate financial records regarding fundraising activities.
- Maintain a working budget and follow appropriate district protocol.
- Enforce weekly academic eligibility provided by the administration.
- Interact with Administration and present information as requested.
- Arrange necessary transportation and supervision for off‑campus events.
- Offer leadership and direction to students.
- Must demonstrate a record of effectiveness in their own teaching.
- Must demonstrate and model a positive attitude.
- Must enjoy working with students.
- Must be able to collaborate effectively with others.
The physical demands of this position include frequent sitting and standing for extended periods. Depending on the class or student assignment, the employee may occasionally lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds. Repetitive bending at the waist, kneeling, stooping, and crouching to assist students is also required. Employees may reach overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally.
