Responsibilities
- Cares for patients in the hospital setting under direction of nursing staff
- Provides patient care as assigned and per routine directed by educational scope
- Documents care provided according to standards
- Maintains a clean work and patient environment
- Maintains supplies, including scanning, stocking, and ordering new supplies
- Floats to various units based on identified patient care needs
- Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities
- Training/precepting new partners in collaboration with unit educator
- Completion of a CNA program
- Current CNA certificate in applicable state
- Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
Demonstrates expertise in patient care within a hospital setting, adhering to nursing directives and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Proficient in documentation, supply management, and training new staff while participating in performance improvement initiatives.
