Experienced RN Needed

We are seeking an experienced RN for our Skilled Nursing units. The candidate must have a current IL License and CPR. Opportunities available to pick up additional hours! Essential duties and responsibilities include providing quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures according to established protocols. Observing patients and reporting adverse reactions to medication or treatment. Administering specified medications as allowed by policy and procedure, licensure, and State Practice Act.

Responding in a safe and timely manner to patient requests and reporting significant observations to the RN promptly. Demonstrating knowledge of the patient's plan of care and delivering care safely and within established standards and guidelines. Participating in planning for patient's care by providing input to the RN and under the direction of the RN, assisting in implementing the patient care plan.

Demonstrating knowledge of established hospital and nursing policies. Identifying emergency situations, initiating nursing measures as appropriate within scope of practice in emergency situations and seeking assistance and direction as necessary. Instructing patients in self-care according to the teaching plan and the directions of the RN. Documenting this aspect of the patient's care.

Shift: Day Shift Hours (7:00A - 7:30P);
Weekend & Holiday Rotation
