School-Based Social Worker | Harvard, Illinois

An exciting contract opportunity is now available for an experienced School Social Worker to make a meaningful impact in a school setting near Harvard, IL. This position serves a Pre K caseload, supporting young learners and their families for the remainder of the academic year, with an immediate start through May.

• Current Illinois School Social Worker (IL SSW) credentials required.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois is a must.
• Experience providing social work services in schools, preferably at the Pre K level.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and commitment to supporting students emotional and social well-being.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families.

• Deliver direct and indirect social work services to Pre K students as identified in IEPs.
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies, individualized for each students needs.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote students academic and social success.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements.
• Advocate for student needs and serve as a bridge to community resources, as appropriate.
