- A school district in Northern Illinois is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker (SSW) to support students in an early childhood/pre-kindergarten setting for the full school year.

• Caseload:
  Building-based School Social Worker position serving the assigned pre-k program

• Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students.
• Conduct assessments and contribute to special education evaluations as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the implementation of student services.
• Provide individual and group interventions to promote student success.

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker Endorsement
• Strong collaboration, assessment, and communication skills
• School-based experience preferred

• Interview scheduling is flexible
• District is prepared to move quickly through the hiring process
• Prompt hiring decisions anticipated following interviews

• Fingerprinting required prior to start

• Full-time, stable assignment for the school year
