** The Opportunity

You'll be at the forefront of attracting and securing top-tier talent for a diverse array of positions – from vital white-collar roles to skilled trades and essential blue-collar production positions.
As our Recruitment Officer, you’ll be the driving force behind our talent acquisition strategy. Reporting to our People and Culture Manager, you'll seamlessly manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, ensuring we secure the right talent for every position. Your sharp instincts and proven experience will be particularly valuable in navigating high-volume recruitment, especially within the heavy blue-collar sector.
** How You'll Make an Impact
*** You'll develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies, proactively identifying future hiring needs hand-in-hand with our People and Culture Manager and Department Managers.
* From creating compelling job requisitions and posting on key platforms to expert sourcing, insightful screening, and conducting engaging interviews, you'll manage the entire recruitment lifecycle with finesse.
* You'll ensure a positive and efficient experience for all candidates by conducting timely pre-employment phone screenings, coordinating essential medical examinations, and managing drug and alcohol screenings.
* You'll conduct thorough reference checks, and meticulously prepare employment contracts, ensuring strict adherence to the correct award or industrial instrument.
* You'll oversee the onboarding process for all new employees, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and fully integrated into the Harvey Beef team.
* You'll leverage your proficiency in HRIS systems, specifically Workday Recruiting, for every stage of talent acquisition, from job requisition creation to candidate management and reporting.
* You'll diligently manage the headcount budget and strategically fill workforce gaps
* You'll help shape our employer brand by actively participating in job fairs and career events and developing and maintaining advertising and new opportunities to recruit talent across the business.
** What Makes You a Great Fit
*** You bring solid exposure to high-volume heavy blue-collar recruitment, Fair Work legislation, and are able to negotiate and interpret different Awards.
* You understand Work Cover legislation and determining fitness for work.
* You're proficient in using HRIS systems, with a particular strength in Workday Recruiting.
* Your organisational skills are exceptional, allowing you to seamlessly manage multiple tasks and ensure the staffing needs of an organisation are fully met.
* You have a keen eye for detail, excelling at screening applicants to determine if their skills and abilities match company job requirements.
