Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit position requiring an active IL RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification.
Responsibilities- Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 18:45 to 07:15
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units as needed
- Utilizes Epic for charting
- First time travelers are accepted
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed
- Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- Active Illinois RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
- NIHSS certification preferred
