Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit, requiring an active IL RN license and 1 year of nursing experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
- Typical patient ratio is 1:6
- Day shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week from 6:45 to 19:15
- Every other weekend is required
- Floating to other units is required
- Uses Epic for charting
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed
- Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Must live at least 75 miles from the facility
- Pending licenses are not accepted
