Be a part of a world‑class academic healthcare system, University of Chicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You must be based in the greater Chicagoland area.

• Collaborate closely with physicians to assess, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate the patient’s plan of care and outcomes.
• Provide complex nursing skills and delegate tasks to other care team members, per unit specific competencies and age considerations as defined in the Patient Care Centers scope of care.
• Monitor the quality of patient care and patient satisfaction.
• Pursue professional development opportunities independently.
• Ensure the daily operations of the Patient Care Center are effectively maintained.
• Work within service standards and support the vision of Ingalls Hospital.
• Partner with other care team members, proactively identify and provide for patient, family, and physician needs, exceeding expectations and applying appropriate customer relations.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Follow all corporate compliance requirements, communicating issues to appropriate parties.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school with a BSN or ADN
• Current RN Licensure in Illinois, or valid temporary permit
• Current Basic Life Support certification (Healthcare Provider Recognition)
