Maintenance Technician

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $25-$30 an hour, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. This position is for 1st Shift.

The Maintenance Technician reports to our Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs/ troubleshooting to mechanical and some electrical equipment (such as pumps, compressed air, high- pressure steam boiler, and hydraulic systems).
• Performing preventative/predictive maintenance and lubricator tasks.
• Assist with various maintenance projects.
• Participate in general housekeeping and maintenance organization.
• Additional tasks will be provided by the maintenance manager.

• High school education or equivalent; advanced education highly preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years' industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Be able to read and complete basic mathematical functions.
• 480 VAC, three-phase primary, 120 VAC control voltage experience desired, but not required.
• Both threaded and welded pipe assembly/installation experience desired, but not required.
• Blackmer, Viking, Gorman-Rupp pump experience helpful.
• Some knowledge of HVAC systems is helpful, but not required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
