As a Medical Technician
, you will play a critical role in supporting nurses, physicians, and technologists by delivering direct patient care and performing technical procedures in a dynamic cardiovascular environment. You will assist in patient mobility, diagnostic testing, and overall clinic flow—ensuring compassionate, high‑quality care and an exceptional patient experience.
- Perform diagnostic procedures including Electrocardiograms (EKGs), Holter/Event monitor application, and Exercise Treadmill Tests (ETTs)
- Assist in phlebotomy and laboratory support including venipuncture and PT/INR testing
- Support nursing and technical teams in patient preparation, transport, documentation, and monitoring
- Contribute to efficient clinic operation by maintaining equipment, restocking supplies, and performing weekly OSHA checklists
- Create accurate, complete electronic stress test reports and communicate effectively with other departments to ensure patient flow
- Support the nuclear medicine team with Adenosine and Perfusion Stress Testing and associated documentation
- Deliver care in a warm, professional manner and ensure safety and comfort for every patient
- High school diploma required
- Medical technician or medical assistant training or experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced clinical environment
- Willingness to assist across departments and travel to support other CIS locations as needed
