QA Automation Test Engineer - New Orleans, LA.

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Test Engineer to support the United States Navy (USN/DON) in New Orleans, LA.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned QA professional with deep experience in test automation, performance testing, data validation, and web services testing, who can work collaboratively in an Agile environment to ensure the reliability and quality of mission‑critical Navy personnel and pay systems.

• Develop and execute automated test scripts and scenarios based on requirements, technical designs, and manual test cases.
• Design and implement performance test plans and load tests for USN/DON environments hosted in AWS Gov Cloud.
• Perform ETL and data alignment testing, validating data interfaces and end-to‑end data integrity.
• Conduct extensive testing of SOAP and RESTful Web Services supporting NSIPS and integrated systems.
• Document, track, and report software defects, collaborating closely with developers to drive timely resolution.
• Work as a senior member of a 3-4 person automation team to define, refine, and maintain reusable testing frameworks.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide clear test status, risk, and issue updates to project leadership.
• Utilize configuration management and ALM tools to manage test assets, code, and test execution across environments.
• Support user acceptance testing and production readiness activities for new USN/DON capabilities and releases.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards to enhance overall product quality and reliability.

• Minimum 5 years’ recent hands on experience with the above listed skills, Open Text ALM/Quality Center, UFT/QTP, Ready
  
  API/SoapUI frameworks, SOAP, RESTful web services, Oracle 19c, SQL Server, Toad, Red Hat Linux, VMware, People Soft, Serena Dimensions CM, Subversion, JIRA, Rational Requisite Pro, Agile environment, QA Test Automation with performance test focus, on/in a DoD enterprise system at New Orleans, LA.
• REQUIRED
  
  EDUCATION:
  
  BS/BA STEM Degree or Related Fields.
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s):
  Active CompTIA Security+ CE
• REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
  Active Secret.
