Hallmark Field Merchandiser; part-time Harvey, LA

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills and build retailer relationships, serving as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00 – $15.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
• Paid training is provided, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

• This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours are between 10 – 13 hours per week.
• Availability week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products on the floor and in store departments. You will also manage communication with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys.
• Holiday support:
  During seasonal demand peaks (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), you may be required to work additional days and extended hours, including weekends.
• Department resets:
  You may be part of a team responsible for installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating product sections, and resetting card departments. You will typically be notified two weeks in advance.
• Team support:
  As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you may support other team members as needed in their territories.

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday, and may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Proficient in operating a digital hand‑held device for reading documents and interpreting information.
• Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
