Pay & Commission

$13.00 to $16.50 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process!

Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $3.85 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary

Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management or 3rd key experience. Responsible for day‑to‑day operations, leading store employees, recruiting, retaining talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations. Partners with the Store Manager to analyze financial statements, promote the business, and target new customers. Oversees jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more. Hourly wage plus commission and bonus based on performance.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
  • Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store, count cash drawers, and ensure procedures protect assets.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and customer loan security.
  • Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting.
  • Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
  • Maintain operating standards that meet or exceed First Cash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity.
  • Complete assigned training for self‑development.
  • Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge.
  • Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Willing and able to perform extended duties per law; standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting.
  • Lifts/carries up to 50 pounds.
  • Effective supervisory ability.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
  • Assistance to customers outside the building for product retrieving.
  • Minimum age 18.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Flexible to work multiple locations as business requires.
  • Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • 40+ hour week; hours based on business needs.
  • Computer literate; operates POS systems and office machines.
  • Multi‑task in fast‑paced environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Commission plan:
Assistant Store Managers can earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance.
