Baton Rouge, LA - Pecue - Retail shop;
Harvey, LA - Retail shop. The Gulf Coast region, with Baton Rouge as the central point but can also be based in New Orleans.

Responsibilities- Drive business and sales growth within the designated area.
- Engage with customers to thoroughly understand both current and future needs.
- Identify profitable growth opportunities and actively participate in transformational initiatives, such as business model evolution.
- Develop and implement a robust controlling model to enhance the accuracy of business activity analysis.
- Contribute to the monitoring and progress tracking of the five-year strategic corporate program.
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly Flash analysis.
- Execute assigned projects, typically involving design, engineering, and execution, under routine supervision.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (engineering, manufacturing) and external suppliers as needed.
- Guarantee that all projects adhere to technical specifications, deadlines, and budget constraints.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a science, business, or related field is strongly preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of five years of proven outside B2B sales experience, including success in solution‑selling concepts and a demonstrated history of managing a defined sales territory, preferably in the medical field or medical gas industry. - Consultative Sales: Proven success using a consultative sales approach to establish a comprehensive mix of sales solutions and products.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated success leveraging deep understanding of the customer's business, macro‑ and microeconomic trends, industry trends, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with collaborative customer success management platforms, such as Google Space and Salesforce.
- Prioritization: Knowledge of customer segmentation and ability to prioritize targeting customers that deliver highest value to Airgas.
- Communication: Excellent written, oral, listening, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Industry Knowledge (a plus): Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases or prior industrial gas/welding supply sales experience.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and minimum liability insurance as required by state vehicle registration.
