Job DescriptionA current Massachusetts license in mild‑to‑moderate special education is required for this position. Additional certification in History (grades 9‑12) is also required.
Experience with co‑teaching and/or teaching secondary English Language Arts in a special education setting is a strong plus, as the successful candidate may be asked to teach or co‑teach in that content area.
In this role, the teacher will be part of both the special education and history departments, teaching a combination of special education classes and general education history classes. Efforts will be made to schedule special education students who require supported general education history in the classes.
Qualifications- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
- Current MA license in mild‑to‑moderate special education.
- Certification in History (grades 9‑12).
