• Assist in the repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Repair and overhaul compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
• Conduct preventative maintenance activities by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
• Support the department by processing job tickets and work orders to the appropriate department promptly.
• Provide support by picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Perform minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations.
• Operate company vehicle safely.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
• (Must have: Mass RT license)

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational‑technical or trade school is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
• Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, plus prior work on display cases and walk‑in boxes.
• Must have a good driving record and be able to work independently.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance and sit or stand for several hours at a time.
