We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our independent service centre team in Haslemere. We offer a £37,500–£42,500 basic salary, permanent Monday-to-Friday hours (strictly no weekends), and full company funding to obtain both your MOT Tester licence and F-Gas certification if you are not already qualified.
The Rewards- Salary: £37,500 – £42,500 per year basic (Tailored directly to your technical experience and skillset).
- Guaranteed Weekends Off: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00—enjoy permanent, stable weekday hours with strictly zero weekend shifts required.

Your RoleAs a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Haslemere workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing
, scheduled maintenance, and safety inspections across a diverse range of vehicles. - Tackle all aspects of mechanical repairs
, ranging efficiently from light servicing to heavy component replacements (clutches, cambelts, suspension, etc.). - Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to systematically troubleshoot, isolate, and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Complete digital job cards accurately and collaborate with the workshop team to maintain a smooth daily workflow.
- Qualifications &
Experience:
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with a proven track record handling light servicing through to heavy mechanical work. - Licensing & Certification: Full UK driving licence is essential. Active MOT Tester or F-Gas certification is a bonus, but full company funding is provided for both
. - Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks. Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, versatility, and a positive team-player attitude.
Situated in Haslemere, our facility offers an easy daily commute for candidates travelling from Hindhead, Godalming, Liphook, Midhurst, Petersfield, Cranleigh, Milford, and the surrounding Surrey and West Sussex areas.
