REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree (AA) in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent; or a valid Center-Based Preschool CDA credential or an existing 120 hour approval letter.
• Knowledge of child growth and development and ability to implement early childhood curriculum.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Technology competence.
• Collaborative mindset.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a high-quality preschool environment.
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning community.
• Current certification in infant, child, and adult CPR and first aid.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, staff, parents, and colleagues.
• Independent and willing to work with energy and passion.
• Willing to engage with preschool-aged children in a warm, positive, and nurturing demeanor.
• Planning and executing a variety of activities for preschool-aged children; both academic and social.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administration regulations
• Attend mandatory monthly early childhood meetings at the county level, yearly meetings at the district level, and building-wide professional development.
