School Age Childcare Assistant

Location:

McAuliffe Elementary (may have to support at other sites as necessary)

• Between 6:30 am - 8:45 am / 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
• Non-school days when we provide childcare for families, up to 8 hours

• Starting rate $18.80 / hour; based on the Community Education Paraprofessional Master Contract  on the district website

You will play a vital role in providing a safe, and inclusive environment for elementary students during the school year. • Supervision and helping implement activities; such as crafts, games, and outdoor activities.
• Build positive relationships and support children's social and emotional growth through clear expectations.
• Assist with daily routines; including snack time, check-ins, and sanitizing areas, and toys as needed.

• Must be 18 years of age

• Previous experience working with children in a formal or informal setting

• Strong communication, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
