Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or ADC-T to join our team as our adult day program expands. In this role, you will provide individual and group counseling to adult clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a transformative program with the potential to make a lasting impact.
As an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you will help adult clients build the skills, resilience, and confidence they need to achieve and sustain recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to clients in accordance with 245G standards.
- Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans that address both substance use and co-occurring mental health issues.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers and other behavioral health professionals, to deliver holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Educate clients and their families about substance use disorders, recovery, and available resources.
- Support clients in setting and achieving recovery goals through evidence-based interventions.
Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota licensure as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC or ADC-T).
- Dual licensure in LADC and Mental Health is a plus.
- Experience working in a 245G program or similar setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of co-occurring disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- The capacity and desire to innovate and pioneer holistic treatment programs in a new IOP clinic setting.
- Applicants must be able to pass a Minnesota DHS background check.

As such, it may be a little longer before we can offer our planned full package of health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance.
