This announcement will fill one full-time Office & Administrative Specialist Intermediate / Health Unit Coordinator position at the Minnesota Veterans Home-Hastings Domicillary. To provide continuity of communication as an office assistant within the nursing department. It will provide calendars for care conferences, direct phone communication between all disciplines and nursing. It will also organize and schedule outside vendors for phlebotomy and radiology, communicate appointments with residents, be aware and notify members regarding in‑house appointments.
The position will assist with fax/scanned communication, maintain integration with the electronic medical record. It will also participate in some Health Information type duties including processing physician orders.
The Minnesota Veterans Home in Hastings is a Domiciliary (DOM) which is an independent living community for Veterans. It provides a supportive environment that fosters a stable, healthy, and meaningful life for Veterans.
