Hallmark Field Merchandiser; part-time Hastings, MN

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organizational and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You'll collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory, support seasonal resets, installations, and occasionally work with other products in stores.

• Hourly pay: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.
• Paid training (live and virtual).
• Part‑time employees eligible for voluntary benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.).
• Annual pay increases.
• Part‑time position with variable schedule.
• Average weekly hours: 12‑14 hours.
• Availability before and after major holidays (may include weekends) required.
• Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, inventory support.

• Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores (grocery, drug, department, mass retailers).
• Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory; use Hallmark mobile device for reporting and communication.
• Holiday support: work additional days and extended hours around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; may also work on the holiday itself.
• Department resets: team installations, relocating card departments, building fixtures; notified two weeks in advance; may involve evenings/weekends.
• Team support: assist other merchandisers as needed.

This job is physically demanding; you must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, kneel, squat, walk, stand, and occasionally climb stairs or use step ladders.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds routinely and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Operates a digital handheld device for reading documents and interpreting information.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores.
