Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
We are looking for a mechanic who is comfortable self‑servicing a full range of equipment, from two‑cycle engines to Class A trucks, loaders, and trailers. No two days are the same! In this important role, you’ll be the expert our team members go to for help with their diesel equipment, and your hard work and expertise directly enables our company to succeed.
While we value your area of expertise, we are open to training and encourage collaboration with fellow mechanics so that we can provide the best possible service.
- Pay: $22–$32 per hour, depending on experience

- Troubleshoot, recommend, and repair front‑end suspension, change tires, brakes, and perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections within skill set and company capabilities.
- Complete preventative maintenance, diesel inspections, and assess equipment for repair needs.
- Support operations through repairs in the field, communication, and education of operators when possible.
- During winter, participate in rotating shift schedule to support overnight snow operations.
- Keep track of repairs, time, and parts on our mobile app.
- Take ownership of organization of stock‑parts, tools, and shop areas.
- Self‑starter, able to prioritize, solve problems & operate without direct supervision.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Have a smartphone to use the company app for tracking repair information.
- Physical requirements:
ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach; push/pull; lift/carry up to 50 lbs; grasp tools; perform repetitive motion; work outdoors and in noisy environments.
