This position is responsible for providing various maintenance services in City parks, playgrounds, and facilities, including the Joint Maintenance Facility, Civic Arena, Aquatic Center, and Veterans' Athletic Complex. This position will operate and maintain City equipment and vehicles at various locations.
Minimum Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Class B Commercial driver's license with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain within one year from the start of employment.
- Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in parks maintenance or construction, or a combination of two years of related experience and education.
- Experience with routine equipment or vehicle maintenance (oil and fluid changes, filter changes, etc.).
- Ability to obtain Minnesota Certified Tree Inspector and Pesticide licenses within six months from the start of employment.
