Automotive Technician | Monday–Friday | NAPA Gold Certified

Location: Hastings, Nebraska
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
Pay Rate:

  • B-Level Technician: $23.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, and certifications)

  • A-Level Technician: $45.00–$75.00 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, and certifications)

Pay Type: Guaranteed Hourly Rate + Productivity Bonus (Hybrid Pay Structure)

About Connot Auto Care

Connot Auto Care is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our family-owned independent repair shop in Hastings, Nebraska. As a Gold-Certified NAPA Auto Care Center, we provide high-quality repairs backed by the NAPA Peace of Mind Warranty while building long-term relationships through honest service and exceptional customer care. You'll work alongside experienced ASE Master Technicians in a clean, organized shop with a Monday–Friday schedule and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide variety of domestic, Asian, and select European vehicles.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs following established quality standards.

  • Diagnose and repair engine, brake, suspension, steering, electrical, air conditioning, cooling system, transmission, and light-duty diesel concerns.

  • Perform light-duty diesel repairs as needed.

  • Complete digital vehicle inspections using Auto Vitals.

  • Use diagnostic equipment, including Autel and Snap-on scan tools, to identify vehicle concerns.

  • Test drive customer vehicles before and after repairs to verify concerns and confirm repair quality.

  • Document repairs accurately and work collaboratively with the service team to provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Experience as an Automotive Technician in a professional repair environment.

  • Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems.

  • Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment.

  • Familiarity with digital vehicle inspections using Auto Vitals.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Commitment to quality workmanship, integrity, and outstanding customer service.

  • Own professional automotive tools required.

  • ASE Certifications preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

B-Level Technician

  • $23.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

A-Level Technician

  • $45.00–$75.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and diagnostic ability.

Hybrid Pay Structure

  • Guaranteed hourly rate plus productivity bonus.

  • Actual compensation within the stated range is based on relevant experience, certifications, demonstrated skills, productivity, and the employer’s approved pay structure.
