Paraeducator

Positions begin August 10, 2026.

Skills Paras: $/hr

SPED Paras: $/hr

EL Paras: $/hr

Title I Paras: $/hr

Office Paras: $/hr

Pay is based on position, education and experience.

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and student learning
• Provide one-on-one and small group support
• Help students with academic, behavioral and social-emotional needs
• Prepare instructional materials and learning centers
• Supervise students during assemblies, drills, recess and field trips
• Maintain records and assist with classroom paperwork
• Support students with physical needs, including restroom assistance when necessary
• Work closely with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff and parents
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• A caring attitude and willingness to support students with diverse needs
• No college degree? No problem. Project Para training is provided for candidates who do not have 48 hours of college coursework.

9-month positions

Typical hours are 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (may vary)
