Campus Activities Coordinator
Are you passionate about creating vibrant student experiences? Hastings College is looking for a dynamic Campus Activities Coordinator to help foster a strong sense of community through engaging programs, leadership opportunities, and cherished campus traditions.
About the Role
At Hastings College, student engagement is about more than just events—it's about building connections, fostering leadership, and creating a campus environment where every student feels a sense of belonging. As the Campus Activities Coordinator, you'll work closely with students, faculty, staff, and community members to design and support activities that enrich student life. From managing student organizations to leading campus traditions like Homecoming, Bronco Bash, and Late Night Breakfast, you'll play a key role in making Hastings College a home away from home for our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs that promote student engagement, leadership, and community-building.
- Support a diverse student population through practices and activities that support acceptance and belonging.
- Supervise student workers and volunteers to ensure successful event execution.
- Manage and coordinate major campus traditions and student events.
- Collaborate with campus departments and local partners to enhance student involvement opportunities.
- Assess student engagement initiatives to continuously improve programming.
- Maintain event resources and budgets with fiscal responsibility.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience working in higher education or event planning preferred.
