CAM Machinist - 2nd shift

Our team is currently looking for a CAM Machinist in Hastings, NE for one of our clients in the Valve Manufacturing Industry. This role is a full-time, onsite, 6-month rolling contract position working on 2nd shift, with every Friday off (4/10 schedule)!

• The experienced CNC Machinist will be responsible for the CNC machining and inspecting of manufactured components from various materials.
• Responsible for the operation of CNC Machining (3- axis turning, 5-axis turning and milling operations).
• Able to follow drawing documentation and blueprints, paying close attention to detail.
• Ensuring quality control and daily machine maintenance.
• Full understanding of machine settings.
• The ability to perform machining on a variety of materials including Stainless steel.

• Equipment Experience - 2+ years machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.
• High school diploma or GED
• Verbal Communication
  - Uses clear and effective verbal communication skills to express ideas and request actions.
• Planning and Organizing
  - Works with guidance to plan, organize, and prioritize activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
• Health and Safety
  - Applies elementary concepts to manage and apply safe systems of work.

• Onsite in Hastings, NE
• Shift: 2nd Shift - 4PM to 2:30AM

• Pay Range: $28-30/hr. (DOE)
