• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the AHA
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, or mental health nursing preferred
• Experience with inpatient behavioral services, acute care psychiatric units, or similar clinical settings is a plus
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in block scheduling
• Strong communication, de-escalation, and teamwork skills

• Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Services Unit
• Assess and monitor patient mental health status, documenting changes and interventions
• Administer medications, treatments, and PRN interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized behavioral health care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the EPIC charting system
• Promote a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff in the psychiatric unit
• Participate in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and CPI-guided techniques when needed

• Work with a collaborative, experienced behavioral health team focused on quality mental health care
• Gain valuable psychiatric nursing and EPIC charting experience in an acute care setting
